Hello, long time no see. (Oh by the way, it's me, Frostlightningx of Deviantart, not sure if you remember but oh well)
A history of stories on media? Interesting question, as history of what I've been into has been quite complex as I tend to have phases when it comes to my interests (though I'm still desperately hoping Sonic gets fixed considering how damaged the series has been in 2010s and I'm still in the fandom, not a great experience even among ''the good side'' of it. Not gonna rant long about it but it pisses me off to no end to have all the potential of the franchise, which is supposed to be my favorite, shattered).
Anyways, coming from Serbia I grew up with some stuff most are familiar with (i.e. Disney) but also some stuff you people never knew before (some hidden gems, some not much worthy).
Other media that I have been into for recent years would include My Hero Academia, Megaman franchise, Bionicle, Danganronpa, Tomb Raider reboot trilogy, DOOM and some retro FPS titles, non-Nintendo platformers in general, and there are many other titles I appreciate but won't go too far... But that always depends on the mood. I'm still into sci-fi, whether be post-modern-ish or retro-style (meaning like from 80s and 90s).
I'm also trying to make my own comic which I named ''Astral Ki'', and my intention is to make it a spiritual successor to Archie Sonic. Other than this one, I have many ideas I aspire to realize, if only my body and hands were as productive as my imagination.
The entertainment media in general (especially the ones not like ''real life stories'' if you get what I mean) always served as something to simply give me life in the bleak reality and ever since as a kid I wanted to visualize stuff of my own to entertain others and give them ideas. I should also mention that I take character designs and visual styles very seriously, always have, and I sure as hell can get picky.
Hmmm, I guess with certain media, the Disney films of the 90s made a great impact on me as as a child their films got me into animation and learn important lessons. Plus have beloved characters. ^^
Also helps they also appear in other Disney stuff like House of Mouse and Kingdom Hearts. Plus Rugrats is a childhood fav on mine when I grew up with cartoons. ^^
